For the holiday season, Skylab Entertainment produced a drone show for the retail chain H·E·B, turning the night sky into a seasonal canvas visible to the entire event audience.
The challenge
Translate the spirit of a brand’s holiday campaign into a live, memorable experience that is perfect for photo and video, without depending on weather or a fixed location.
What we produced
A swarm of coordinated drones drew a sequence of 3D holiday figures: a lit Christmas tree, a reindeer, a snowman and a snowflake, along with elements of the H·E·B brand identity, including its signature shopping cart drawn in the air.
Each figure formed and transformed in a fluid choreography, synchronized as a single show. Being a drone show, it ran silently and with precision, ideal for a family atmosphere and for capturing brand content.
Why it worked
- Brand narrative in the sky: the figures connected with the seasonal campaign and culminated with H·E·B branding.
- Social-ready content: every formation is a perfect shot for photo and video.
- End-to-end production: design, permits and operation under one technical direction.

Frequently asked
Can a drone show draw my brand's logo?
Yes. A coordinated swarm can form logos, text and three-dimensional figures with precision, and hold each figure long enough for the audience to photograph it.
What permits does a drone show need in Mexico?
Swarm operation requires permits from AFAC (the Federal Civil Aviation Agency), plus venue and municipal authorizations depending on the location.
